On Thursday, September 18, I delivered a technical presentation at the Harris Facility located in Melbourne. Approximately 20 research scientists (8 of whom present had their PhD's) were kind enough to sit in on a 2+ hour discussion about my dissertation research and recently developed phase correlation approach for registering LiDAR data to Aerial imagery. The ladies and gentlemen present offered a great deal of constructive criticism and feedback.
I cannot thank the individuals present enough for all of their feedback and commentary. The technical briefing was an awesome experience in which I was able to take away a great deal of help and knowledge from. I look forward to future technical briefings with Harris and am very grateful for their funding and interest in this research effort! |
